The “Petit Princess Ferry” operates on Petit Passage on Digby Neck, this ferry carries 24 cars and is fitted with omni directional Rolls Royce thruster units. It is a sister ship to the Deer Island Princess II that EYE designed for New Brunswick in 1998. A new ferry for Deer Island is currently under construction and will replace the John E Rigby that EYE designed in 1973 and is still in operation today.
The “Petit Passage” separates Long Island from the Digby Neck.
